Technology is getting smarter in front of our eyes literally now; sunglasses are becoming smart devices. Meta, which is the company behind Facebook and Instagram, has launched a line of smart glasses in partnership with Oakley and Ray Ban.These high-tech wearable shades are not used just to look cool and block the sun. They also let you record videos,call people, listen to music, and even see notifications right in your lens.

Meta says it wants to be able to make wearable tech more useful with everyday tasks and more stylish while doing so. While $499+ might be too pricey for most students, it’s clear that smart glasses are becoming part of our future.
